BLIND RIVER TEKAU SAUVIGNON BLANC 2017 - Lawsons Dry Hills

Blind River 'tekau' took the style of oak barrique ferment Sauvignon Blanc which is what was unknown and unacceptable in the early days of Sauvignon Blanc making in New Zealand. Today, this is acceptable with Cloudy Bay pioneering in this style which they still make called "Te Koko".
Pale golden, bright straw hue.
Complex aroma of vanilla, spice and mandarin peel, hint of green pepper from wild ferment.
Medium finish linger with warm spices and citrus.
